This, i'm simply keeping both BTC and BCC.
I learned the early on never to put all my eggs in one basket, this is why I'm also diversified in alts.

Sell 25% of BTC for fiat, put 25% of it in alts
Sell BCC when the time comes
Put buy orders for BCC at $10
Get out of alts when they bubble up
Use the 25% fiat to buy more BTC when it dips

I think you are on the right track, the only question is which alts you should pick for this. I wanted to get into alts but they went all up around 5-10% today so I am not sure if I still wanna buy alts. I wanted to get ETH when it was at the lowest point yesterday but since then it moved up ~10% now I am not so sure.

I can't tell you what's going to happen with BCC. I'll follow it closely though. If it drops insanely, like down to $10-50, I might buy a small amount. Regardless of whether it's a shitcoin or not, people will eventually compare its former price to the low price and get greedy.

Think of BCC like any other alt that forked bitcoin, because it is an alt. BCC is an alt coin that everyone with BTC gets an airdrop off. Most people won't even ever use their BCC or realize they have it. Just like the other alt coins. You can dump it if you want, for $10/BCC probably, or hold it if you think a bitcoin clone that does nothing unique has value.

ETC for example, even though it went 3x a month later, if you just dumped ETC the day of and bought ETH you would have gotten 20x the gains instead of holding the ETC.
