It's an "estimate" based on ShapeShift.
They don't charge fees per se, they just make it very easy to exchange. Exodus and ShapeShift are both trying to provide a normie friendly service.
Exchanges are more hassle, and there's a degree of risk (trust) so it makes sense.
The diff in price is because bitcoin is going up in value relative to doge (according to ShapeShift)
