Is it possible to just not pay into social security?
>>2898132
Look anon, you're gonna pay into gen X's fucking social security whether you like it or not.
> forced Ponzi scheme
>>2898132
Yes... it's called not paying taxes. Just dump your money into a tax haven like the giganigger apple and amazon.

>gen X
it's not happening even for them, anon
social security is the privilege of boomers
I always tell people we should be allowed to opt out of social security. Ie dont pay into it throughout your life but also cant collect it when older. They always give me a mean look and ask how I will survive when im older.

that would instantly kill social security, and what administration wants to alienate their largest voting base?
>>2898446
Even boomers will see it collapse.
If you're 70 years old today, you'll likely live to 90-95.
This whole thing isn't lasting 20 more years.

work for cash only
no income tax
no deductions
put it all in crypto
It's a fucking scam unless you live until like 100.
The average lifespan for Americans is like 75 and you can't start collecting full benefits until 68. Half benefits starts at 65 but you'll be capped for the rest of your life.
My uncle paid into ss since he started working at 18 and only got 8 years out of it, or 200k. It sounds like a lot but it's only $2000 a month for food, utility, health/home/life insurance, taxes, and property taxes. He literally stayed home all the time ate shit food and driving broken shit car with damaged paint and scraped by. He also worked part time at a grocery store but they taxed the fuck out of him.
Its bullshit

Yeah THAT'S why.
>>2900021
This is the only way to not pay into SS

When people say that I just edge the fuck out and say "I don't plan on living long enough to become an invalid"
I'm only half meming when I say that
