Hello all.
Instead of trying to pick a needle out of a shitstack, what are your thoughts on being a VERY early adopter?
What are your thoughts on buying into one of the only companies that has investments in quantum computing?
So far the obvious plays are Intel and Microsoft
But Pender Growth Fund and 180 Degree Capital group each have ~15% of their NAV in D-Wave which is the first mover and only major manufacturers of Quantum computers.
Let's begin a discussion on how we can get filthy rich in a few years by investing in quantum computing
This lack of response is the exact reason there should be a separate crypto board.
You faggots really thing Bitcoin is going to make you rich? 2011 was the time, now you're just acting like fools.
Bitcoin will never scale. Never, ever, ever.

im of the understanding that numerous aerospace and defense companies are also largely invested in the quantum computing space and will be the first movers in asteroid mining as well.
raytheon
lockheed
boeing to a lesser extent.
i'm sure space ex will get in the game...
anyways.
thats where the future really lies.
if your thinking on earth your living bc, napoleon shit.
Until theres a quantum computer on par with current computers which works at room temperature, I don't see much of a reason trying to get into it yet.
Plus there's the whole issue of being able to understand HOW to use it.

Don't they just make it really easy to hack? Shouldn't you invest in computer security companies

>until it's a mainstream adoptable technology why would I invest in it
This board.. I tell ya, fellas...

>This board.
This website.

Yeah that's all they do! Anyone can be a leet hacker don't invest totally useless

Still gotta watch out for snake oil and fads

>Bitcoin will never scale. Never, ever, ever.
6/10 trolling
Too early to say if quantum computing is gonna take off. And if it does, it won't be for quite a long time.
A friend of mine is starting his PhD in Quantum Computing this year and he doesn't think he'll make big money from it when he's finished (in 4 years). The technology is still to too early stage to make it viable.
You might as well invest in cold fusion at this point.

>D-Wave
Can you even buy D-Wave stock?
My uncle works at D-Wave. AMA?
(Actually posting this from a quantum computer. Yeah crazy I know. It solves captchas on its own lol)
AMA

How many FPS can you get on Crysis at 4k maximum settings?
>>2899161
2 fps
it's bad at graphics : (
>>2899164
2 FPS And you think Quantum is the future? What a jip.
>>2899195
It's good for banking though , my uncle tells me
>>2899150
Why would anyone use the D-wave, seeing how standard computers can do everything better at the moment?
