I want to buy the coin, but I have a sneaking suspicion that the dev pre-miners have just pre mined like 90% of the coins and will gradually sell the coins to people from threads like this.

Why was there such a large pre-mine to begin with?

I do want to get behind this coin, as I think the concept is good for market potential, but these things concern me.

I don't know, I just find it hard to believe you guys will 'burn' the massive amount of pre mined coins. Most people would just put those coins in a wallet, tell themselves that they won't do anything with them, when they will actually gradually sell those coins, gradually giving in to corruption and just selling the coins for bank.
