This thing could be diving way harder right now. I've been looking for spots to open a short on eth/btc and it's not happening. As long as BTC recovers at some point it seems that ETH will go with it.

ETH is literal non-future proof, it has proven time and time again. Many, smaller "ETHS" such as ANS will eventually replace ETH.

One giant, CENTRALIZED, blockchain that gets congested on bubble ICOS is not the future, suck it.
