third party exchanges are not liable to give you a god damn thing. coinbase has outright said it won't be accepting BCC. if you have a coinbase account, check your e-mail. they already sent that update out.

exchanges may do right, sure, but you'll likely have to inquire to get cashed in/out. and some exchanges have a shit track record with this.
