All of us browsing this board, save for the most retarded faggots of all, will soon be hodling double bitcoins. We are forced for once in our miserable lives to make an important decision.
>Trade BTC to shitcoin eg FIAT
>Trade BTC for BCC
>Trade BCC for BTC
>Do nothing, hodl both, BTFO
Goys... What the fuck do we do
>>2871295
>save for the most retarded faggots of all
Why do you say this?
Is it because the retards won't know HOW to acquire double btc/bcc?
>>2871348
Our greatest retards exclusively hodl scamcoins, for them there is only one real move to consider which is just buying more
>>2871295
trade bcc to btc IMMEDIATELY after fork. Why? No one knows about it nor gives a shit about it.
You realize how many normies are talking about bitcoin lately driving new money into the market? Wanna know how many normies know about bcc let alone the fork? 0 fucking %.
>>2871394
I am tending to agree, but the BCC faggots control too many BTC, could they manipulate BCC into being king coin? Are they doing this now? What is their move...
>>2871348
hol up i thought the coins got automatically deposited to your wallet
>>2871421
Didn't I see cuckbase won't be doing this? Has anything changed with that? A lot of norman with them...
>Literally never heard of BCC till now
>Look it up
>It's 2533 usd
I'm too old for this shit
>>2871428
exchanges don't have any binding or duty to do so but hardware wallets etc happen automatically, at least i think so
>>2871433
Does this work for all hardware wallets?
>>2871394
They should have named it bitcoin classic instead of bitcoin cash. Sounds like a payday loan scam or some darkweb currency.
>>2871440
You need to check. I believe ledger has confirmed
>>2871452
>where? last i saw circa 400
I'm retarded, never mind. Anyway, is bcc the equivalent of etc? Like pre fork btc or something?
>>2871468
No, it's post-fork BTC, meaning BTC will become Bitcoin Classic in a sense
>>2871454
where would one check at? i use jaxx to store my btc
>>2871445
That's exactly what I thought and everytime I hear the name I imagine a kike sticking his hand in my pocket
>>2871295
The fact that i don't understand the situation very well makes me even more scared...
>>2871489
It's listed on viaBTC or you can see it on coinmarketcap. These are futures only the coin itself does not exist yet, the price is almost meaningless
>>2871501
The BCC enthusiasts want different rules for the bitcoin so basically they are installing a different update to everyone else, they are big / noisy enough that people care about this.
>>2871295
Read Jihan's blogpost you dumb faggot. BCC is just in case the devs don't make Segwit2x like they promised. It's a bluff.
Bcc is a shitcoin.
>>2871569
BCC is coming
>>2871594
I didn't say it wasn't coming. I'm saying it isn't here to stay.
>>2871611
Yeah so what do you intend to do about it? Cash out / rebuy dip? Hodl to collect BCC for trade? Just hodl through?
>>2871295
>Trade BTC to shitcoin eg FIAT
This no doubt.
Spartans

>I am tending to agree, but the BCC faggots control too many BTC, could they manipulate BCC into being king coin? Are they doing this now? What is their move...
Someone who understand bitcoin needs to debunk this...If not he has a valid point. BCC , the Chinese miners voting for the fork, control a fuckton of bitcoin.
So what happens if I just leave my BTC in my wallet? Do I get the same amount of BCC once that's available or do I have to trade my BTC for it if I want some? What happens if I leave my BTC an exchange?
>>2871737
Exchange: The BTC you own is just a number in their books. You don't have the private key to any BTC
Wallet: You own the private key.
The fork is literally like a fork in the road. You BTC will continue the ledger in one direction and BCC will continue the ledger in the other.
Exchange: You own BTC in their ledger, that's it. Not BCC (GDAX).
Wallet: You own the record before the fork so you have both.
>>2871783
I just installed Electrum and I see my public address, but how do I get my private key?
>>2871790
You don't need to see it. That passphrase is the seed for your private key. Keep that. If you send BTC to that address then you will own it for real. After the fork you can send it where you please.
So a client made these payments, he sent 150$ worth of BTC, then I see another payment of 150$
Weird thing is that the cash keeps going down since yesterday.
Someone explain the ''part paid'' and why is there another payment that doesn't show the USD amount?
>>2871783
So basically I should move my BTC I have on bittrex to my wallet
>>2871783
cheers
>>2871855
too late for that, I think. Its locked til fork happened as far as I know
>>2871708
>a fuckton of coins.
Meh, i don't think so with block rewards at 12.5
>>2871874
This. The gooks, like everything, get in later where there is less perceived risk.
The ancient whales hold the cards here.
>>2871802
So will both BTC and BCC be exchanged against every fucking coin, or just bcc, or just btc?
>>2871890
Think of it like ETC and ETH. Who knows what pairs BCC will traded against, just like ETC at it's inception.
>>2871868
Source?
>>2871855
I know on my exchange the last date is the 31st. My exchange explicitly stated that they won't support both. Other exchanges have been silent.
>>2871855
>In the event of a chain split, Bittrex will take all reasonable steps to ensure that customer funds can be preserved on both chains.
>>2871409
The truth of the matter is Bitcoin cannot be replaced by anything not called BTC, even if the technology of said fork was superior in every way.
Outright attempts to kill BTC would kill any fork as well, which is why it won't happen. It's much more likely we see another ETH/ETC scenario, with BTC remaining king and BCC (or whatever) having some fractional value of it.
>>2871409
BCC will be a dogshit coin that noone care about in 6 months.
The miners will use BCC as a guarantee for the 2x activation of Segwit2x, in short BCC is a threat, it's: "if you don't double the block size we will drop BTC and move to BCC" but outside of a noisy minority noone give a fuck about this coin and just want for BTC to break 3000$ already.
>>2871855
you can't send BTC anywhere anymore basically
bittrex SHOULD be fine to give you your BCC, since they did it with stellar lumens airdrop and noone expected it. though you're still counting on them giving you free money.
I'm on Gemini, what's their plan? Also I'm on mac, what's the best wallet?
>inb4 mac fag
