look at all the metrics of a coin and compare them
vertcoin's popularity is exploding
It's code is what "core" wants, it's what anti-ASIC algorithm forkers want
it's mining difficulty is up 12x in the last 4 months
it's search results on google are trending higher than they have in the past 3 years
Its reward halves to 25 per block in 5 months
it has had fair distribution, no premines, no fork rollbacks (eth/etc)
It forked from scrypt when scrypt ASIC were created (litecoin), to Lyra2RE.
It forked from Lyra2RE when a CPU botnet was mining on the network, to Lyra2REv2
It has the most decentralized miners, specifically catering to GPU miners and the community and miners will maintain that feature.
It has segwit and will be the first coin to receive atomic swaps between litecoin and vertcoin
keep an eye out for this coin, it's due to go up

I have 50 Vertcoin, how much do you suggest having?
>>2861657
As many as you can safely afford to lose.
>>2861657
how ever many you want
I'm holding a few thousand until bitcoin figures out it's issues and has decentralized mining
I still hold most of my portfolio in bitcoin about 80% but I see a lot of potential in both coins

Dogecoin era coins such as vert, black, digi are all dead weights. They had their chances. They're nothing more than shitcoins.

how about WAVES? looks verrrrrrrry promising

I disagree but respect your opinion
the problems in bitcoin is what's giving vertcoin relevancy today
I don't understand litecoin's rise
The problems in bitcoin are coming from the centralization of miners, the same miners mining litecoin
ASIC miners aren't fairly distributed at the moment, GPU miners are
Other GPU coins either have no cap ETH were split because of a error in an ICO's code ETC, premined due to code error darkcoin/dash
I like monero it seems fair, but it can't scale as efficiently as vertcoin
