Use the volume oscillator, it's basically RSI but for volume
Buy when it's below the line or at least near the line, and sell when the volume spikes all the way up
General guidelines, look into further yourself.
If you see buy volume picking up, after a significant drop, you can start add to your position. Then, once a peak is reached, and sell volume picks up, slowly start to reduce your position; if you think something will continually trend upward (based on fundamentals and technicals - such as price action/support and resistance/higher timeframe momentum), then you'll use that to judge how much you sell off.
If volume is trending downward, while price is trending upward or moving sideways, then it can be viewed as a warning sign for a change in trend. But you must always focus on the fundamental environment as well. Buyers might just be waiting for something to happen before unleashing the bull.
Trading isn't a game where you focus on one thing to tell you what to do, btw. Use a whole a bunch of stuff, and never fall for FOMO.
