Here's what I do, mid-term investment.

Look for when things are going badly in global politics, like the US election. When Trump won, Mexican currency and share prices crashed, so I bought lots of Mexican shares, knowing Trump wasn't actually going to do anything to Mexico. A couple of months later people realised this and the price went back up and I made 40%.

Did the same thing with Russian oil a couple years ago. When the oil price collapsed I bought Russia oil shares since I knew that oil price would go back up eventually. It took a bit longer than I expected, but I held on and eventually it did go back up a lot (not to original level, but that doesn't matter since I bought so low) and I made like 20% profit

Less volatile and you actually have a good idea of what will happen. With crypto no one actually understands it so nothing is certain

There is a reliable and guaranteed market for currency and commodities, where as there is not for crypto.

That is one thing the crypto market doesn't have is guaranteed securities exchanges. If you are holding 10,000 GayCoins and the market completely crashes, you can't even sell your GayCoins for the few cents they are now worth if there are no buyers. That isn't how stocks work, though.

Sell your cryptocurrency. Buy an apartment building at a low cap rate, leveraged with as much mortgage as you can bear (get that credit score up). Rent it out. Profit.
