I cant find a single legitimate place to purchase BTC using a creditcard or paypal. 50% of people online say coinbase is a scam and other 50% say its legit and i have already tried other websites that havent worked. BTC-E requires a bunchb of fishy methods like ADVCash etc. Help !

no. coinbase is fine. People scream "SCAM" because they charge fees. If you're trying to daytrade through coinbase like a fucking retard, the fees will eat you alive. If you want to buy and hold, it's fine and easy.
