Altcoins General: Saving /biz/ edition.
There's countless shitcoins and shills threads scattered around this board every day, in such a way that's almost impossible to find good discussion, posts or even threads with more than 20 posts. My proposal is that we make a general to discuss every altcoin so that shills, bagholders and God forbid, people actually interested in having quality discussion about the market can gather in just one place.
It's okay to discuss every coin except BTC and ETH here, as I think those two are big enough to hold countless threads on their own.
So anon, what altcoin are you holding? Why do you think it's good? What altcoin are you eyeing right now? Let's share ideas.
The rule No1 is only invest a small sum if you're new
But don't actually FEAR to invest, it's funny, maybe you'll like it
can I shill my NKA bags here for a sec
Best advice would probably be:
1. Don't invest more then you need to live or do not want to loose
2. Research coins that you are buying, make sure they do proper things and are not just shit clones without a working product. (these are called shitcoins) Keep in mind that BTC purists will call everything a shitcoin that is not BTC.
3. Hold and do not try to time the market. IT DOES NOT WORK LONG TERM unless you get lucky as fuck.
4. Invest relative to how much potential you think a coin has.
>So anon, what altcoin are you holding?
Almost entirely in STRAT
>Why do you think it's good?
Solves one of the biggest issues ETH has by using side chains, as well as the devs show good consistent progress on the project. Additionally if the wallet they're working on really does to well enough to become someone's main BTC wallet that could help STRAT out in visibility
>What altcoin are you eyeing right now?
Thinking about IOTA (but I really don't want to have to go to other markets than my usual to buy it) and maybe getting in on the Obsidian ICO
