I'm a new fag that finally had money to invest. So, I got into the market in June. I have made gains and don't plan to run off at a little down trend like the rest of the summer fags.

I have a question about the upcoming August 1st gold rush. If the markets shut down for 24 to 48 hours and everyone has taken their coins off the market and put them into their wallets to benefit from the split, wont it take forever to get your coins transferred back into the market. Seeing that everyone will be trying to do this at the same time?

Would it be wise to have some sitting in USDT in the market so you can swoop in and get some coin at incredibly cheap rates in case of a further dip? Thanks.

only bitcoin transaction will be disabled, aswell as all btc pairs

you can still trade with fiat and eth

bittrex has a big ethereum marketplace for this very reason, since they have all major coins on it now

Also usdt is on the block chain. So if you are in usdt you are on the block chain and will be effected

i think tether only uses the blockchain to physically move the coins around, i think they are stored on a seperate chain

also if you keep your tether on the exchanges, then you can use it as you please, but you probably wont be able to move them from different exchanges

Ok thanks for that I didn't know. But even so, when the markets kick back on I wouldnt have to wait for a transfer correct? Seeing that it's setting in the market already.

I could just jump back into BTC immediately if i see a big dip or jump into BTC and them into any Alt coin that i see a dip in without having to hope my Bitcoins make it to market in time. Correct?
