Invest the money in something with a high div/yield %. A big long lasting company that has been paying out dividend for decades. Some oil companies or the like.

Because you use euro you can invest into European companies that pay high dividend like oil companies such as shell. You get around 7% return yearly which you will re-invest every year if you are a smart guy. Set aside like 10% of your disposible income and keep buying high div/yield stock and you could provide your son with 20.000 euro a year of passive income (that's the name when you get "free" money for owning stock) that he can use to have a leg up on his peers and probably land him higher in society.
