Thoughts on how ETH price may or may not be affected by this?
No meaningful effect, ETH is so big it was always going to be supported by these things.
The thing that actually will effect it will be the second hard fork in a year to implement POS.

In 5 years time, how many ETH forks are we going to have... BTC seems like it'll get ironed out with BIP148, but ETH? Seems like so much trouble until it's finally truly viable.

ETH is just the new LTC, it does something new and gained enough value to get to the #2 spot.
I think BTC will maintain the #1 spot for several more years while the #2 spot will be fought for by several coins in that time.
ETH isn't zero-trust and right now has no coin cap so I really don't understand how it has got to were it is.

>He hasn't googled "ETH ice age"
why would i want to stake my eth on some dumb backwater poo exchange when i can do it in my own wallet?
also, why would a literal garbage exchange adding stake pools for eth have any effect on the price?
there's barely any traders on there
