Evening /biz/, I'm working on an app/website that aggregates and summarizes news articles. Think Drudge Report(without the spin) marketed to millennials and Gen Z.
Do you think it will catch?
>it's called summly, idiot. It already exists
Summly was bought by Yahoo for $30 million and they shut it down. The market is open and I'm going to see if it still exists.

Also to clarify, I'm 18, so I'm among the people I'm targeting. So that won't be an issue
How will you specifically target young people?
$30 million is nothing in comparison to crypto market

The ultimate goal, after building a user base advertising on college campuses is to get a corporate Snapchat story.
I also have a LOT of youtuber contacts from my last business. They will help shill at a discount. From there, word of mouth is good to an extent, and is the best way to advertise among young people since we literally never click on ads. Influencers will be the way to go.

>implying I have the capital to go all in to crypto when building an app costs me nothing but time, and that an investor would much rather me take their money and advertise an app than fuck it up in crypto
An app that uses an algorithm to aggregate news, and another to summarize it will likely catch. Especially considering how many people in this generation are involved in politics now, be it left or right.
Also when it has an audience, (((they))) might become interested
