So I opened an account with interactive brokers but for some reason even though I already deposited money into the account and my acount says that the money is ready to trade, even time I try to execute a trade order it says that I don't have enough settled cash to do it.
Is it because I need to change the currency to USD first?

I use ib. Sick platform. If you dont have the currency it will just borrow in the currency in which the security is listed... ppst screen shot of account balance. Do you have the actual capital in it already. Worst case maybe wait 3 days

That's what it tells me, that I have zero settled cash even though it says that my net liquidity is at 16k.

I already waited the 3 days and already deposited the necessary money.

So that means I can buy stocks in USD without having to manually convert?
