I think the bottom is around $80. It will be time to buy when /biz/ starts saying it's dead and that it was all a scam.

This is ignoring the reason why bitcoin jumped in value (I'm big on TA too, but it's idiotic to ignore your external environment). The Chinese often place their money in things like overseas real estate, to basically avoid having it manipulated by their government.

The ONLY reason bitcoin experienced that jump, from that 0.764 support region, was because the Chinese started buying in heavily around 2014 (https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/china-now-controls-bitcoin-thats-just-beginning/ -- article from around 2015)

Eth will not reach those prices because the fundamentals of the market have changed. It's more based on trading (which lends to stronger support points, brought about through higher liquidity), and there is the realization that has come along with this new enthusiasm that crypto and the blockchain could actually be quite a useful thing, with a lot of potential.

Always use FA and TA as tools, but don't look at either things in isolation.
