With all the threads about cryptocurrency can we have at least one thread about trading equity?

I would like to spur discussion and start with this question:

Should I be worried about this spike in volume for EXEL?

bump

Following this thread because I'm looking to expand outside of crypto with my capital gains.

That's very for sell volume to spike like that, and yet price dip was minimal.

Only explanation I have was that when price spiked up, a huge amount of limit sell orders were triggered. But this seems to have been anticipated with what must have been a huge buy order placed immediately after price spiked up, which all those sell orders sold into at the buyer's Bid price.

So even though price sell volume spiked, the price drop was minimal. I think this is a very good sign - it implies some buyer "knows" something, or perhaps wants you to think they do...Who knows? If you bought in before the price spiked upward, I'd hold, OP.

>So even though price sell volume spiked

remove 'price' from that sentence

That huge Buy order's price must've been around the dip above the arrow

I considered that, particularly because it didn't take much to spike the shit out of price, implying low liquidity. But wouldn't there have been some sort of of dump afterwards?

Wouldn't surprise me if some fund manager bought up a ton of shares. However a quick browse of the SEC page for it doesn't reveal the usual form someone would file for that. Very shady.
