Lost around 1.5 Million Eurobucks in the last 7 days of crypto crashing. 60% drawdown since the absolute high of my portfolio @3.25MM€.
Didn't sell because of the taxes it would have triggered (~45%).

Strangely I feel very calm and peaceful inside.
Maybe because I saw it coming. This is not the first and not the last time.

This is considered selling and a taxable event (at least in Germany). Any change e.g. LTC->BTC or LTC->USD or ETH->GNT would be considered a sale and if you gained something it becomes taxable income. Nobody gives a fuck if one handles a few ten thousands Euros or so, but in seven-figure territory, you become fair game for the tax man.

Only if you hold your position more than 1 year it becomes tax-free here.

I thought my portfolio allocation to be quite ok. Maybe it doesn't include any of the new coins of the last 50 days, but so be it. The coins aren't bad it's just that the market changed.
