Hi. I'm looking for selling a high value software but if I do it like usually it would spread in the market, so I can sell only one time.
The idea I had is making a closed device like a laptop where the software works, without network connection, without being able of putting it out of the laptop, if you remove the HD it deletes. Is that possible?

Whats easier: sell it the usual way over the internet, but the same day you release it, also release a ton of pirated versions of it containing malware, so nobody trusts the software and the ones who need it buy it legally

You don't sound like you really know what you are doing... are you sure your software is worth it?
Generally: everything can be hacked, everything can get stolen and copied. The trick is to market your product good enough from the get go so competitors are in the disadvantage from the start and then quickly grow out of their reach.
If you are not a massive company, then good luck...

Set up some license key shit
But that obviously be cracked...

I'm selling it to companies, not regular users. I'm not sure that would work. And the problem is they can hack into it.

I don't know about it, someone related made it and some companies are interested but I don't want to sell only one when I can sell it more times.

That's the problem, it can be hacked easy, it's a simple but interesting software for companies.
What you're selling isn't yours. Don't get caught. Closed device works, deletion after HD removal isn't fully possible.
Don't be a fucking idiot.
