I honestly think this is one of maybe 5 coins with an actual future

while more advanced than monero, I wonder if it's even necessary, or will they run into computation overload that momero wouldn't have.

This coin is completely dependent on the technology behind it. If you understand that, as well as the fact that Zcash has the researchers who developed the zk-SNARK concept, then you will understand that the fact it is worth over $200 per coin now is insane.

It has a CLI, and COMMUNITY MADE GUI's. The value behind it is REAL, there is virtually no use of Zcash as an actual currency, and it is STILL worth over $200.00 a coin. This is definitely a long term investment if you feel its worth the risk; there are no other coins that could do what Zcash is doing, and if they do want it, they will need to have some level of Zcash integration, thus further necessitating its increase in value.
