I'd say IBM, their stock has been dropping for a while, due to poor revenue performance in the past, but this is a mistake the market is making with tech in general.

To me, what really matters with tech is the level of Free Cash Flows, it's how much money a company has leftover after Capital Expenditures (buying and maintaining assets). In IBM's case, they use this money to pay out quarterly dividends to shareholders, and there's been a steady overall growth in their FCFs, which has resulted in growing dividend payments.

So if want a long term hold with a company with a long and steady history, it's a good choice. What particularly interests me is that they seem to be becoming more involved with the blockchain (something banks are trialing right now).

Be mindful to do your own interest into any company you want to invest in though. Avoid investing in things you're not willing to understand, that's my view anyway.
