I look back fondly on vertcoin, I rode the very first pump to perfection and made babby's first 30x gains. Maybe there's another pump in it, but it takes a lot more than a different mining algorithm to justify longterm growth potential.
Plus their plan to stay ASIC resistant is just to keep forking everytime an ASIC comes out or a botnet starts mining. Laughable for any level of real adoption.
