I am going to release a free decensor mod for an adult VN game.
However, creating this mod is going to cost me about 50-60USD for the artist that is decensoring it for me.
I'd like to offer people an easy means, if they appreciate the mod, to donate a dollar or two toward my costs. This would be entirely optional.
Whatever means I use should:
- Be easy
- Have minimal fees
- Stop accepting donations once I've recouped my costs
- Have no end date
- Allow me to withdraw the money even if the total costs haven't been met
Something like 'Fundly' is good, except that Fundly charges 5% commission and 3% credit card charges.
Another possibility would be Paypal, but I already have a paypal account associated with another email address that I don't want associated with creating adult game mods. I don't know if I can create a second paypal account with a fake name etc without it getting shut down. If I go down that route I'd probably just create a free website that tracks the current funding received.
Are there any other options or recommendations?
Well, for easy checkout, minimal fees, no end date and allowing you to withdraw even if the total costs haven't been met there are several cryptos out there that fill all of that, even more.
And I think a lot of people are going to recommend you then. The thing is, even though it's easy to sell crypto, it's hard to buy for the first time.
Therefore, lot's of people are not even going to give up when they see you want it in weird cryptos, or just be unable to do so. BTC might get you some donations but the transaction fee is 0.001BTC, which means 2.5 dollars. I still recommend you to STILL accept donations in cryptos, but not use it as the only way to receive them.

So no suggestions on how to do this without using cryptocurrencies?
Because there aren't that many people out there regularly using them, and I don't want to limit potential donors only to those people who do.
