An "option" is a voluntary contract to buy or sell a stock at x price y months from now.

So I sell you the option to sell me 1000BTC at $1000 six months from now. So if BTC doesn't drop to $1k or below, congrats, you just fucked yourself and gave me a position with huge equity.

No, but I know some people doing it. There is a right way to trade options and a wrong way to trade them.

I didn't start yet because I don't have enough money, you need form 50K to 100K to live from this. And it's complex as hell to learn it, but it pays.

Start from tastytrade. Then go to the fastlane forums. Pay the subscription (you have to pay for quality info srry) and read the Options thread.
