Redpill on Polo Margin Shorting

So /biz/raelis,

Could somebody please redpill me on Polo Margin Shorting?

When shorting - normally I would assume that StopLimit would be what I would use to protect my position from tanking while I sleep.

However - it seems that in their margin screen (pictured) that if I'm only 60 percent in, with 40 percent of my funds on the side, that when I add a marginBuy StopLimit, it is using my 40 percent funds instead of closing out my short position.

Am I retarded? Yes? Explain how I can 'force' it to effect (close out) my short position only plz.
