Mining this shitnugget as we speak
It's hard to say. To me it's one of several coins attempting to be a more scalable smart contract platform than Ethereum is.
Right now Stratis, ANS, and NXT/Ardor are getting a lot of attention in that same category so that's probably why it isn't taking off. It definitely has a chance but I can only justify hodling it if you diversify among all of the Ethereum alternatives.
Hate this coin, only bag I sold at a huge loss because I have no hope for it. I'm even holding fucking Digi for a potential recovery.

Lead dev left to work for coinbase like 3 weeks ago

Wrong, he is working for bittrex while still working on ubq.
>>2716877
He was working at Bittrex part time and working as an admin full time somewhere else. He quit his job to work full time on Ubiq and at Trex.
Ubiq has a really great team. I have a lot of faith in them and I think it's working keeping an eye on.

No development
Out of all Ethash coins that are mineable, what is the most reasonable hold that is not Ethereum (Classic)? Expanse, Music coin or UBQ?
