When do you sell bitcoins ? Btc is definitely a very good bet for the longterm but let's say if BT hit 7k tomorrow would you sell or hold ?
I was reading an article written from a well respected economy analyst and university tutor that btc will hit 25k$ and that's when this question came up. will I hold till then or I would be selling when it hits 10k

Easy, sell half.

Read about all of the stories of when people sold at $100. They had similar logic involved.

Cashing out is the most disgusting meme on biz

I'm making enough money out of my job to pay for house loan and all my necessities.
I don't have many needs, and only a few "wants"
(SNES mini fuck yeah)
so I'm keeping the BTC I got. And actually I will keep investing more money after I have a 1 year emergency fund.

I am a bitcoin oldfag, do not cash out. Only sell what you need for that month. The rest will grow. You are welcome.

My student loan provider only takes money withdrawn from a bank account, had to cash out only to pay it off completely.
What are your goals? For me it's to gain enough to never work again. My estimate is £800k in index funds with 3% yearly withdrawal to give £24k/year. With 20% capital gains tax I'll need £1 mil.
I also don't wanna exit BTC completely since I think it can go sky high in longer term. So will sell when 2/3rds of my stash equals £1mil, and hodl the remaining until whenever.
