Prove me wrong protip
Yes. Tezos will be the one that attracts the feds. They both live in the US and are accepting "donations" to their company which is set up in Switzerland.

Another uncapped ICO - this is the biggest threat. What will be the figure that burns us all? I thought BNT might have done it but the froth continues to thicken, if Tezos can't spark a massive reevaluation (correction) then we might be looking at ICOs into the billions. The later this happens, the greater the damage.

This. Fuck scammy ICOs and fuck Tezos. However the market seems so bullish I'm hopeful it could survive even a major fuck up without another 3 year winter. Or hopefully Tezos doesn't blow up for a couple years and we get out before the normies.

We aren't really any closer to adoption than we were last year, we're still whitepapers and ideas for the most part yet people have been flooding in willing to pay 5 - 10 - 50x the price for a piece of a concept. The demand is primarily driven by exponential increase in awareness fueled by rising prices, so I still consider this for the most part as one magnificent ponzi. My great fear is that ICOs blow us up before we can transition out of pure speculation, if that happens I guess we're looking at another 2014.
