Whaddayathink, you clever motherfuckers?
https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-going-to-moon-could-reach-1-billion-fox-news?
Baseless?
1 billion is too much, 1 million is getting unrealistic even
>>2696898
1 million is optimistic and, even then, only if bitcoin becomes a major currency.
1 billion is ridiculous but I wouldn't complain.
>Bitcoin going to 1 billion
That would be fucking stupid levels of money. What percentage of money would BTC need to have for that shit? Like the other anon said even 1 million ain't likely ever
>>2696920
Doesn't bitcoin market cap have to be like 21 trillion for it to reach 1 million?
That's almost as big as all US equities market cap in 2007
But imagine ordinary banks buy it in large quantities. That way could be possible
>>2696951
If they started doing that they stand to make vast profits.
>>2696969
Triple 69's
>>2696951
again, the NYSE market cap stands at about 21 trillion USD as of may
bitcoin would have to be 21 trillion dollars in market cap to be worth even 1 million, so unless you see the entire US equity market starting to trade in bitcoin I think it's pretty unlikely at this point
I'll one up them, i'm predicting $1 trillion a coin
What is, at current growth, a reasonable estimate for BTC median price in 2020? 3.5k?
>>2697469
This is pure speculation but I would guess at least $10k. It's almost exactly 4x today what it was 3 years ago. Another 4x in 3 years would be perfectly reasonable. However, given that much of that growth has occurred only since January 2017, I wouldn't be surprised if it winds up significantly higher in 2020.

21m bitcoin maximum, if each bitcoin was worth 1m then we're looking at market cap of 21 trillion. Considering that's global it actually doesn't seem unreasonable, the NYSE is 18.5 trillion at 27% of the global market for equities.
She's a qt but she pulled that figure out of her tight asshole.
