Hoping the miners here might give me some insight on this.
Through together a cheap base to start HDD mining BURST with. Pentium G4400, 8gb DDR4, 500w.
Did I fuck up? Is this a solid enough build to smoothly mine? Looking to slowly grab more HDD over time.
I will be using my 1070 for the initial plot.

cant you just use like an amd Sempron 145 piece of shit cpu for mining, its primarily just the gpu calcs per second isn't it for mining? What other parts matter in mining any why?

BURST uses your HDD for mining.
OP you're fine, the point of BURST mining is using the HDD nothing else.
Hence why people buy massive amounts of powerful GPUs yet they run on Celeron and 4gb ram el cheapo shit don't skimp on Power supplies though
For BURST you grab the biggest quantity of HDDs possible, can be external/internal doesn't matter as much as your motherboard/system can hold.
