only a fool wouldn't have a portion of their investment portfolio in physical gold and silver.
>>

>>
Fell for the NUGT meme before it crashed hard last August. Both Gold and Ron Paul can both go fuck themselves.

Go home Ron, you're senile.
>>
>>2689942
Treasury is going to run out of money by October. So the Federal reserve decides to devalue the dollar as they always do which drives people to gold.
>>
>>2689831
Doesnt ron paul have like a billion usd in gold stocks? Theres a reason why he shills it so much
>>
>>2689831
Because Bitcoin will be up 500% by then
>>
>50%

bitcoin will be 5k, and eth will be 600-700$ by then, that's almost guaranteed

He understands history

Every single fiat currency in all of recorded human history has eventually returned to it's true value; zero
>>
>>2689831
I've been hearing this Ron Paul shit for at least 10 years. Now that we have a superior form of currency (crypto), why bother with gold?
>>
>>2689831
This pussydoctor has been yelling collapse since the Carter Administration.

Okay guys, what exactly am I going to do with bars of gold other than sell them, melt them, make useless shiny jewelry or other flashy shit? I don't own a electronics manufacturing company, so using it in those types of things is out of the question.

>Why aren't you buying gold right now?

Because in the long run a diversified protfolio of stocks outperforms gold.

$200 next year
>>
>>2690716
Do you use your dollar bills in any arts & crafts? You buy it and lock it away, it's an investment like any other.
>>
>>2690774
Try stocks against gold instead of against USD.
>>
Scientists have ALREADY transmuted gold out of fucking lead. The only problem is that it's currently very expensive, making it unprofitable to just create a ton of gold. By buying gold you're essentially betting that this process will remain prohibitively expensive forever. I wouldn't feel comfortable doing that.

wew

Not untrue I could see it at 800

Buy uranium if you want a hot tip

>>2689903
millennials dont even want historical gold anyway. just like technology left old people behind its going to leave those clinging to gold behind too
>>
>>2691297
Also assumes gold will continue to be useful in modern technology, when it could very well be replaced by some cutting edge polymer that costs half as much.

you're also betting that we'll enter a mad max dystopia where for some reason we value cultural shiny things instead of practical materials OR that everyone is as dumb as you and will be using it as a hedge against economic downturn when that no longer makes sense

it's the biggest meme going
>>
>>2689942
>US is literally broke
>trump's budget would only cut spending by a fractional amount best case scenario, many years from now
>campaign Trump: "Stocks in a big fat ugly bubble!"
>Pres. Trump: "New highs on the Dow and its all thanks to me!"
>70% of GDP is just ppl buying things
>new economic data continues to be underwhelming
>(((they))) keep raising interest rates despite this
>household debt higher than 08
>stock market showing symptoms of dot com crash
>stock massively overvalued considering how weak economy is

the only two options to deal with natl debt are to default or massive inflation. both will cause value of dollar to plummet. On the other hand, people have been saying the crash is coming for years and have been wrong so far. it all depends on how well you think America can keep the cycle of debt/consumption going before the rest of the world realizes the dollar is worthless.
>>
>>2691297
Even if synthetic gold becomes incredibly easy to make, the very notion of it being "fake" gold is enough for genuine gold to hodl it's worth another couple generations.
>>
>>2689860
they say to always get out of gold by september; it just came a little early last year.
>>
>>2691455
It's not really synthetic gold if it has the exact same molecular makeup as "real" gold. There would be literally no way to tell the difference.
>>
>>2689831
If this cunt knows so much about the stock market, then how big is his portfolio? A guy his age who can predict the market that well should be worth hundreds of millions.
>>
>>2690559
So are you betting on huge asteroids hitting NYC and Washington?
>>

didn't that guy have sex with Borat?

This stocks is best performing asset meme is the oldest Jewish trick.

i am buying gold right now. it just hit the bottom of its channel, i shall hold until it gets back to the top.

I love it how even Ben has started talking about a major economic slowdown (i.e depression) in his blogs

>That said, there are signs that monetary policy in the United States and other industrial countries is reaching its limits, which makes it even more important that the collective response to a slowdown involve other policies—particularly fiscal policy.

If you invest into stocks and forget about them for 10 years, you are fucked, yes.
If you readjust them regularly, you end up with a graph close to the one you see in this graph.

Google "index funds" and then appologize, noob.
>>

Currently got about a thousand oz of silver. We need to hurry up and get into a recession already. This waiting is killing me.
>>
Screw good. Buy lead brass and copper, toilet paper, cigarettes, liquor and canned meat.
>>
>>2689831
I already have gold and silver. Buying cryto right now. When silver adjusts by 400% to its proper gold ratio and then explodes with gold as the markets collapse, ill have a small fortune. Then after the cities cannibalize them selves, ill start a family and enjoy life in the post nigger, white America.
