Okay guys, what exactly am I going to do with bars of gold other than sell them, melt them, make useless shiny jewelry or other flashy shit? I don't own a electronics manufacturing company, so using it in those types of things is out of the question.

Scientists have ALREADY transmuted gold out of fucking lead. The only problem is that it's currently very expensive, making it unprofitable to just create a ton of gold. By buying gold you're essentially betting that this process will remain prohibitively expensive forever. I wouldn't feel comfortable doing that.

the only two options to deal with natl debt are to default or massive inflation. both will cause value of dollar to plummet.
