Is Litecoin a safe investment? I was thinknig about dropping $5000 on either BTC or LTC and don't know which to invest in. I plan on hodling for a year or more.

I would buy LTC as a hedge. There is a real possibility that BTC will have a fucked up fork.

LTC has historically been a good store of value too.

I put 75% into LTC before August 1st.
