How do I short things at a leverage so I can save myself in this crash?
>>2681490
from what i hear is you go somewhere that gives you money to borrow. you then sell at the market price and get on your hands and knees and pray to God that you didn't betray your beloved coin in vain as you profit on tying a chain and ball to it feet and watch it drown to revel in the reward, Cabin Fever style
You have no fucking idea what you're doing, so pls don't
bitmex x100 only. ONLY HARCORE
I can see the next wave of suicide threads coming

This. Cryptos are totally unpredictable at this point. BTC can go to zero and you can lose 100% of your investment. More like 70% though, because bagholders.
With a short your losses can be basically infinite. BTC could jump up 2000% for no apparent reason, some hedge fund decided to one day and you'd lose 2000% of your investment.

Yeah but that's not happening.
Besides if I leverage it, then I can just short for like a day and make tons.

yeah... right. And ETH didn't drop to 2$ last week in a flash....
>>2681891
It was 10 cents,even worse
>>2681891
That happened on some shitty exchange with no volume

like bittrex? or poloniex? ... kek
If they have enough leverage, the exchange just buys or sells those coins themselves. Then suddenly the price spikes or drops. And BAM your account is liquidated. Easy money. Should open an exchange myself if there are so many dumb people...

i just want to add that ESP2 broke the 22 SAT barrier just now.... you're welcome

Oh I just sold at 21
Oh well, I should have sold at 40 though, but if it can't even handle staying above 30, I don't trust it anymore. Also there's the fact that I went on the discord and it turns out that they are still no closer to getting listed on bittrex, they have no clue what they're doing

>t. increasingly nervous bagholder
Bitmex has protection against flash crashes. BFX and others probably have some mechanism too.
