If I'm a seller on bitbay I have to back up every item I sell with a security deposit equivalent to the cost of the item, meaning I always need bitbay coins on hand. And if I'm buying I need to have a security deposit on hand as well. For cheap items this isn't a big deal really, but what if I want to buy or sell something big? I have to basically spend twice as much to make the buy or list the item for sale. You get the money back if it goes well but you need a lot of capital just to participate in this system. I think the fact that you do have to start selling slowly to gain more in crypto so you can then make bigger sales is a really good thing. It means you need to build your reputation on smaller items first before selling big $$$ stuff.
