Am I the only one that thinks looking for patterns in graphs to predict the future is retarded?
The shape of the graph has literally nothing to do with how the price will evolve in the future.

Nope, it is retarded.
Unless you have insider knowledge that some millionaire/billionaire or a large whale group is going to buy up a certain coin you have nothing to go on.

Bump
There are SOOOO many points of data of largely different variables.
Literally anyone can zoom in or out in order to acquire the shape of his/hers desires.
Then post meme triangles.
The only point of this is to sway the general populace in your favor.

Most TA is useless. Trendlines are worth watching though as many do follow obvious trendlines. How price reacts at them can be telling.

from what i've read about finance the only accepted use of Technical Analysis is to help determine entry and exit points in markets when(and only when) used in conjunction with Fundamental Analysis

TA is a self-fulfilling prophecy.
It will only work if the people who hold vast sums of money buy into it.
ITT: retards who read some shit on the internet and cant into psychology. Stay poor.

this
which is so fucking awesome
it's like a secret code
TA, by and large, doesn't work.
Fibonacci is a useful indicator though.

Retracements are also useful to set stops.
But I agree, they only work because people use them. You have to use the indicator that the majority of the market uses at a given moment.
