That's not how it works. You can use a store bought visa card same day. But I'm assuming you need borrowed money right now.

If you have no history of credit and you are young you could prob get a student card. Capitalone is the most flexible but make sure you pay off statements or that interest will kill you.
You'll likely have to wait a day or two to find out if approved and even then your card will take 3-5 business days to get to you.
Also it'd be really stupid to close it after a month or two. It'll hurt your credit score and it really is pointless. Might as well do one small purchase a month just to build your credit and pay it off.

could I do something similar with an online loan or is that also not possible
I have money locked up in mutual funds and don't have a payday for a week and a half but need a couple hundred bucks today or tomorrow if possible
Or will I get buttfucked by any sort of interest on those?
