Hang on, you're down 50%?
Wait...so you're a 'holder', you expected to just buy something, wait a few weeks a make money...forever.
I don't have to spend months learning to trade, I can just buy random shit and make money, he thought. Other people even encouraged him..."JUST HODL!" they cried.

the thing is, you probably can make money just buying random shit. even with today's downswing the market has been incredible. the problem is that people aren't buying random shit, they are buying coins propped up by shills with the sole intention of taking fish money. somehow these retards fall for it again and again.

Daytrading is a job poorfags think makes richfags, but in reality OP it is merely a meme.

People were daytrading back in the late 90s. I remember people quitting their great jobs to daytrade. Most regretted the move - especially now with tradebots, it's even harder to beat the market.
In the long run (40-50 years) you're better off buying things you value (stocks, crypto, land, gold whatever) and holding onto them. To that end, if your heart is set on crypto then I see no reason why diversifying across BTC, LTC, and ETH would be a terrible idea.
I'm a holder. I hold tether whenever the first signs of a failing market become apparent.
>buy tether at $2400 btc
>sell tether at $2000 btc
>buy tether at $2400 btc
Can't wait for the next dip :^)
