I have seen some people on /biz/ say they make enough to live on dropshipping alone. This sounds too good to be true. Is dropshipping a scam?

any explanation? I dont trust this link.

Yes. Dropshipping is extremely oversaturated. Why do I know this? Go on Facebook, like some dropshipping stuff, and boom: ads with a guy talking about how he "made $2 million in a year by dropshipping". That is clearly a red flag.
That, and I've tried it myself.
If you find a REALLY specialized niche you might be able to pull a few neet bux a year.

That is what I expected. Thanks for letting me know. All of these dropshipping posts seemed like shills, but then again, so does 90% of /biz/

I'm not even sure why they keep shilling it and causing /biz/man to lose money. Must be bored

> if someone tells you there's a $100 bill on the ground, you can almost guarantee it ISN'T a $100 bill
by that I mean, if it was really as great as people say, chances are it's already been "picked up" (in this case, capitalized upon and is now likely oversaturated). It's also not "turn key" or effortless like people make it seem, it requires quite a bit of work like most worthwhile/lucrative things. More than most NEETs are willing to invest anyway.
Kinda like BTC, by the time most people heard about it, it probably wasn't a really great investment. Hard to get in when one BTC is ~$2000.
