When will it be time to stop slowly dying?
They just released an update not too long ago. If they don't meet I'll lose faith and sell next time it hits 8 USDT. If the do meet I'll stick with it.
ETH competitiors won't win and even if one did it wouldn't be niggercoin. Ardor is the only one that is different enough to matter

Can you explain why?
Everything is down right now.

I know you've heard this a million times, but it's the coin that *actually* pushes crypto tech forward. Scales perfectly, child chains give it unlimited potential, backing of nxt devs/chain/community, etc. It's complicated so look it up. I'm not saying it wil definitely go anywhere btw, just that it's one of the few coins I think differs more than "this one is in c#" or "it's chinese." I hate that ethereum is so centralized but I think its team will keep it on top. Ardor, factom and decred are all high tech coins that I will hold for a long time.
It's dead until the Breeze Wallet and tumblebit actually come out

I'll definetely take a look at this Ardor project, didn't give it too much attention so far.
Meanwhile, hodling Strat since 60 cents and I'm not letting go for the forseeable future.

What is the benefit of child chains exactly? I looked through their website descriptions but am having trouble wrapping my brain around it. Already deep in on FCT and DCR.
