Anyone else here holding these bad boys right now?

95% glorious tether since yesterday

50% tether, the rest in stable or recently-mooned alts and shitcoins.
Nah, I can't buy bargains with USDT.
Transfered all my crypto, including shitcoins, all into tether 2 days ago. Best decision as of yet, rip bagholders.

I'm starting to regret not going 90% seeing that even Monero and Monacoin are starting to plummet now as well.

Yes you can.
>buy USDT when it's worth 1/2400th of a BTC
>buy BTC when USDT is worth 1/1600th of a BTC at the bottom

Yeah but BTC is only going to move ~50% while other coins are moving hundreds of percent.
I've got $15k in tether. It's a lifesaver.

What made you decide to do that. What do I need to look for to tip me off that it's time to tether up?

There are large corrections basically every week or two. BTC struggled to maintain even $2700 over the last week, and has repeatedly dipped and then corrected at a lower price. Just look at pic related, does it look like it was going anywhere good? Granted, the main risk is FOMO; if you go into tether too early and BTC stays stable/increases, you have no way of joining upcoming moon missions without incurring a loss at the start. Playing it safe means you minimize losing all the sweet gains you made on the altcoin lottery, however.

I figured it was due to cyclical nature and had been meaning to look at it more carefully, thanks for confirm that.
Considering my entire portfolio has dived 25% I think the missing out of gains for a day while effectively making~20% buying back into BTC and friends during the dip makes up for that.
