I'm asking to learn because I have my own coded bot that's making decent gains but nothing phenomenal so far.

Also what is your opinion on mapping noise as an impulse function (special conditioned Fourier) on top of your "smooth" prediction curve? So far my prediction rate for noise has a 67% success rate (error margin +-5%) and my bot has made a few smaller gains off of noise alone or am I just wasting my time with that layer and should keep looking at the bigger picture?

what you motherfuckers really need is to realise that prices only have significant auto-correlation at 1 lag, but price squared has significant memory (this is volatility). then you realise volatility consists of multiple parts, the most important being the available liquidity in the book and the trade-intensity (this is the rate of incoming orders; this is the part that persists over time. an incoming order increases the likelihood of another order coming in (fomo). look up some fucking hawkes processes like with earthquakes and aftershocks and shit). this is called time-dependent price-impact. then you realise you can build a statistical model of the orderbook using fancy as fuck APIs, and you know once the trade-intensity kicks into gear you should buy/sell and once it slows down you should sell/buy, and your target depends on the initial state of the order-book (amount of liquidity between X and Y) and how fast it depletes and replenishes depending on the rate of new orders arriving. your fucking smooth-ass continous everywhere differentiable pussyshit is worthless
