I would've agreed with you 3 years ago but... Even when monacoin went to absolute shit value, I'm talking like 1-3 yen... The community never left it. I cannot say the same for dogecoin. Dogecoin... Everyone jumped ship and left it to die once it tumbled towards 15 Satoshi. All the devs, stores, apps, dead. It still hasn't returned.
Monacoin never slowed down their progress. They never jumped ship to another coin. Their coin is now well established. Three years ago every Japanese person said the same thing on Twitter. "Scam coin for fun beware" today there is a giant and supportive community. Watch out for monacoin.
