>FUN tokens will be created only once, in a short token creation event starting at the Ethereum block mined soonest after 1400:00 GMT on June 22, 2017. They will be issued in two phases, with Phase 1 concurrent with the token creation event. Phase 2 will offer the remaining tokens in a Dutch auction, held at a future date.

So, 1.7 billion tokens were sold in Phase 1, meaning 1.7 billion plus an additional 5.1 billion to be sold in Phase 2 were created. A total of 6.8 billion tokens exist and no more will ever be created.

Assuming the platform is relatively successful, that means the value of these tokens can only go up as time passes and tokens are forever lost in forgotten wallets and such.

Will be interesting to see what they go for in the Phase 2 auction and once they hit the open market. The rate was 100 tokens/dollar in Phase 1, or about 400 sats.

Not really a great sign that they ignored the 1 billion token hardcap that they quoted before the presale and sold 70% more. It's not a project ending issue, but it really makes you think.
