We need it to not be as shit (read: redditumblr-infected along with censoring, profit-oriented admins) as modern 4chan.
On blockchain, with distributed moderation (perhaps you can choose who you sync with, and that person is responsible for moderating content, maybe you can use consensus from many people, etc.? Maybe we can do full consensus, i.e. every participant gives their own vote?), that could work.
