but using common sense, I think you just set up two accounts, buy a script from some guy, connect the accounts through a VPN, run the script, and sell the fruits of your "labor" every 24 hours.

Me and a friend made roughly 400k USD (200k each) botting RS3 over the past 2 years doing something no one else was. Unfortunately Jagex started specifically targeting and banning our bots as of March of this year so I haven't made much since.
