500 literally isnt that much money. The fastest way for someone with no criminal record would be to burglarize a vacationed house pretty far away from where you live, and sell it on the black market. Its very easy to get into the black markets, just ask your local hoodrat weed seller. Selling some technology at 50% price easily earns you 500$ fast. Police wont ever catch you if you are not a known criminal. Same if you go to an outlet store or something and steal expensive shoes or clothes, and resell for half price to criminals. Just dont do it in your own neighborhood.

I knew a couple in college that would take their shitty Honda Civic to every gas station at every exit through I-70 and every by-way on the east coast as just ask people for money. They'd do nothing but drive, beg, and soon as they got some sufficient money, they'd fall all over themselves thanking the person, get in their shitty car, hit the next exit.

They'd bring their stupid lab wearing a stupid kerchief and beg about needing gas money to get to a funeral in California.

They'd make 300-400$ on just a slow weekend, and get their tank topped off for free. Idk what they'd make if they made it a full-time job.
