So I downloaded this here:
https://github.com/Genoil/cpp-ethereum/blob/master/releases/ethminer-0.9.41-genoil-1.1.7.zip
I will be running windows (for now), that is a must.
I ran it with this command:
ethminer -G -S eu1.ethermine.org:4444 -O 0x9493bc52d3c4ae6c1aee6204cf1793beb07fdd23.stratum --cl-global-work 16384
How do I get my wallet address, and how do I check my balance?

Holy shit this can't be real.

If it is, just use myetherwallet.com. You don't have to download the blockchain this way.

Thanks for this.

I created a wallet there.
Now do I just update the address previously discussed and start mining?

I am mining at 22MH/s how long before I will see a balance?

So I hadn't really thought about it but if I have one MSI Rx 470 4gb Armor that I bought for $160 that's only been used for mild gaming, should I sell it while prices are still high? Or should I set up my rig to mine while I'm not home? I don't pay my electricity bill in the apartment I live in and will be moving in September.

Just wondering what would be the most profitable.

I used to run ubuntu linux, as of this morning I had to switch to windows, for academic purposes. This last week I have been toying with mining. I noticed a pretty good decrease in my hash rate between mining on linux and mining on windows.

I have and rx480.
I have pondered the same question.
I have decided that because the market is currently viotle it would be safer to mine with the card rather than sell it. My rational is that the cards may become more expensive. (Though rumors have it they will become worthless in a couple months). If this becomes true, I think we will move on to a different currency anyways. Good luck Happy Mining
